Before clocking in, every CDL driver walks the coach and signs off a 15 to 20 point pre-trip form: brakes, lights, tires, fluids, AC, restroom, emergency gear, interior. Nothing leaves the yard until each box is checked.
Saucon ties drivers, coaches and compliance together.
MCA runs on Saucon Technologies, an intelligent transportation platform built for motorcoach, transit and school bus fleets. Drivers clock in, dispatch sees every coach in real time, and mechanics diagnose engines remotely. ELD hours of service, DVIR driver inspections, GPS tracking, predictive diagnostics and 5 to 6 onboard cameras per coach. DOT compliance and passenger safety, end to end.
Everything left on the coach has a way back.
With 60 coaches on the road every day, schools, sports, conventions, the volume of forgotten items is staggering: cell phones, tablets, laptops, caps, water bottles, jackets. After every run the driver sweeps the coach end to end. Overnight, the cleaning crew checks again. Each item is tagged with bus number, date, group and client, logged into the system and held for up to 30 days. Anything unclaimed is donated to charities supporting children and teens.
